Michael Sebacher

Artisan Blacksmith & Instructor

Michael is a dedicated metal artist and blacksmithing instructor based in Sharpsburg, Georgia. Currently he teaches workshops in his studio and does a number of architectural/art commissions annually. He also founded and directs a non-profit organization whose mission is to establish a local school of traditional arts.

Other experiences include design engineering at Ford Motor, management consulting at Gulfstream Aerospace, PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer in Fort Lauderdale, US Navy nuclear submarine power plant operator, USCG certified sailing Master, salmon boat deckhand in coastal California, truck driver, and corporate training consultant and instructional design.

He’s a native of Sacramento California and currently lives in a space of his own design and construction on the second story of a horse barn is located on the family fifty acre horse farm.
